Black Floral contrasts the vibrancy of nature with the built environment, here represented by the old mouldy frame. In this part of Australia nature thrives and sometimes overwhelms, undeterred by human intervention. The imagery wavers between reality and imagination and intermittently breaches its boundaries, effectively creating a living fabric.
